I’m Michael, the filmmaker behind Michael Sing Films. I’ve always been drawn to the feeling of real film. The texture, the movement, the imperfections, and the way it can make a moment feel timeless. My work is built around that feeling.
Through Super 8 and 16mm wedding films, I create nostalgic, emotional films for couples who want their wedding day preserved in a way that feels honest and lasting. My approach is calm, intentional, and focused on the real atmosphere of the day rather than turning it into a production.
Michael Sing Films is the 16mm and Super 8 film-focused work of Michael Sing, co-founder of Michael and Deanna Photography, a Wilmington-based wedding photography team featured on Style Me Pretty. After years of documenting weddings through photography and digital video, Michael created this brand as a dedicated home for Super 8, 16mm, and analog wedding films.
